A new cultural chapter is taking shape on India’s southeast coast.
The official Pondy Melange 2027 logo and emblem were unveiled at Gandhi Thidal, Puducherry, on 16 October 2026. Reports from ABP Nadu, Oneindia, Asianet News and Amar Ujala describe an initiative led by the Puducherry Tourism Department with TEKSHOT to position the city as a destination for culture, creativity, celebration and tourism.
The festival vision connects art, music, fashion, food, wellness, heritage and entertainment. January 2027 is set to focus on education, spirituality and healthcare conclaves, followed by live music, international dance and entertainment programmes in February. The wider ambition is to invite residents and travellers to discover Puducherry through experiences spread across the city.
Pondy Melange is therefore more than a single concert or venue. It is a city-wide cultural platform—one that can connect artists and experts, encourage knowledge exchange, support visitor activity and present Puducherry’s distinctive identity to a wider audience.

Expo Ground at Uppalam is the place for large-scale music and fashion. The Auditorium hosts conclaves, talks and awards. Old Port Ground brings performance to the waterfront, while Botanical Garden makes room for family experiences and play. White Town connects visitors with heritage streets, local food and city life.
Plan by neighbourhood rather than rushing between every event. Choose one anchor experience, leave room to walk, and use the venue map before travelling. That slower rhythm is often the best way to enjoy Pondicherry.
Begin at Expo Ground, Uppalam for large-scale performance and fashion; visit the Auditorium for talks, conclaves and awards; choose Old Port Ground for waterfront energy; make Botanical Garden the family stop; and leave time to experience White Town’s heritage streets.
